Why do I need a Revisit?
A Revisit is a site-based assessment which can be carried out 5 or 6 years after your original Reinstatement Cost Assessment if we carried out a Major Review of your property. It involves a surveyor physically revisiting your property and is a standard set by the Royal Institute of Surveyors to ensure that your property rebuild value remains correct.
If you did not have a Major Review, then a Revisit is required 4 years after your original Reinstatement Cost Assessment to ensure that you have a correct rebuild value for your property.
