Greg joined the BCH team as a Building Insurance Surveyor in 2015 and, as a senior member of our team, can carry out surveys on all types of buildings and has responsibility for reviewing and signing off cases. Greg holds an MSc in Building Surveying and Cert CII. Based in Chesterfield, Greg enjoys travelling throughout the UK and occasionally Europe for work.

Principal Surveyor

Lee is based in Derbyshire and works throughout the UK. He joined BCH in 2015 and is a Principal Surveyor for our Benchmark product.

Lee is involved in the development, management and delivery of our Benchmark service and aims to play a vital role in the growth of this product. Alongside this he also carries out surveys on all types of buildings, including complex commercial properties such as shopping centres and theatres. He has responsibility for reviewing and signing off cases, carries out desktop appraisals and manages portfolio work. Lee has achieved Cert CII.

In his spare time, Lee enjoys travelling, socialising with his friends, watching football and playing golf.

Principal Surveyor

Lee joined the BCH team in 2015. As an Assistant Principal Surveyor, he carries out surveys on all types of buildings and has responsibility for reviewing and signing off cases, with a specific focus on large estate portfolios and farms. Lee’s focus at BCH has built on his previous experience as a domestic energy assessor and roles within the agriculture sector. Earlier in his career, Lee achieved an HNC in Building Construction as well as the National Diploma in Agriculture, Home Inspection and Energy Assessment.

Associate Director, Commercial

Following 20 years of working as a Senior Project Manager within construction and civil engineering companies, James joined BCH in 2016. He is an Associate Director with responsibility for overseeing the assessment of commercial buildings, including flats and Benchmark, our e-Valuation service. He enjoys conducting surveys on large and complex commercial buildings, as well as managing and training surveyors.

James is a keen long-distance runner, a Crystal Palace fan, loves classic tractors and warm climates.

Head of Marketing

After graduating in 2009 with a Degree in Property Development with Quantity Surveying, Zoe worked for BCH appraising retirement accommodation on the south coast. She went on to work in property teams for a leading retailer and as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) before returning to BCH in 2013. Since then, she has worked as a Building Insurance Surveyor across all building types.

Further responsibilities for business development and marketing have seen her travelling throughout the UK, speaking with existing and potential clients about how an RCA forms a key part of their insurance purchase and why BCH is the company to provide that for them!

Support Operations Manager

Karen joined the BCH Head Office team in Market Bosworth in 2015. Her role as Support Operations Manager sees her working across all product lines, assisting clients daily and supporting our surveying team. In addition, Karen supports our Finance Director and is the BCH Mental Health First Aider.

In her spare time, Karen has made it into the the 100 marathon club with 101 marathons under her belt and has also completed several ultra-marathons!
