Mark has been an Owner and Director of BCH since 2019. Having initially worked as an Appraiser for the company in 2013, he went onto work as a Senior Project Surveyor for a main contractor in the health care industry. He returned to his new role, the hands-on experience gained, aiding the robustness of our process in reporting Commercial Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments. BCH are the UKs market leader for RCAs and Mark is driving the evolution of company strategy and innovation, whilst keeping the customer experience at the centre of these improvements.

Mark holds a BSc(Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, Cert CII, is an Associate of the RICS and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders.

When away from work Mark enjoys exercise and long-distance running.

Daniel Chapman

Senior Reinstatement Cost Assessor

Based in Derbyshire, Daniel joined the BCH team in 2019. As a Senior Assessor, he surveys blocks of flats and commercial buildings and travels throughout the UK to these sites. Daniel is working towards his Cert CII Certification. Outside of work Daniel plays lots of sports including football, cricket and squash.

Steven Pritchard

Steven joined the team at BCH in 2019 as an Assessor. Based in Shropshire, he assesses properties both in his immediate area, as well as throughout the UK. Steven is an RICS Certified Property Measurer and is experienced in surveying a broad range of buildings from blocks of flats, to warehousing, city centre offices and listed country houses. He particularly enjoys commercial site visits due to the variety of industrial installations.

Outside of work, Steven makes the most of any good weather to get out on his Vespa, as well as restoring classic Minis.

Nigel Hughes

Business Analyst and Technical Solutions Lead

Nigel joined BCH in 2018 after graduating with an MEng. Starting work as a Building Insurance Surveyor, Nigel’s focus has changed to innovation and, now fully using the skills learnt during his Masters degree, he has become the in-house Project Manager. In this role he is responsible for the successful initiation, monitoring, controlling and ongoing management of change to our IT infrastructure.

In his time away from work, Nigel plays badminton and cricket for Tamworth CC.

Jess Tonks

Jess Tonks joined the BCH Head Office team based in Market Bosworth, in 2018. As Lead Administrator for Benchmark she deals with customer quotes, enquiries and queries daily.

In her spare time, Jess is a keen crafter including paper crafts and sewing.

Connor is one of our Administrators and he joined the BCH team in 2017. Based in our Market Bosworth office, he supports the Assessment Team and deals with client enquiries and queries. Outside work he plays guitar and writes his own music.
