Silas joined BCH in 2021 as an Assessor, having finished his undergraduate degree in History. He is based in Chelmsford in Essex and has been surveying flats and shops from Norfolk to Kent. He is aiming to earn his RICS measurer and Cert CII qualifications.

Outside of work Silas enjoys going to Stratford to watch West Ham play football, and is also involved in both directing and acting in local amateur dramatics productions.

Reinstatement Cost Assessment Lead Administrator

Julia joined the BCH Head Office team, based in Market Bosworth, in 2021. Her role as a Lead Administrator sees her working daily with clients regarding their homes or portfolios for major estates or farms and supporting our surveying team to ensure service standards are met.

Julia spends her time away from work creatively, enjoying card making and long walks in the country with her dog (& husband when he tags along). She also enjoys holidaying and visiting different places. She has recently visited the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, where she found the architecture very intricate with a lot of the tableaux being created by hand. She also found it interesting that in order to complete it, they are sourcing the stone from Preston, UK as there is no local stone left in the surrounding hillside.

Rhys started with BCH as a sub-contractor in mid-2020 and graduated to full time employee the following year. He is based in Bristol and covers the M4 corridor and South Wales, surveying blocks of flats, high net worth properties and commercial buildings.

Having previously worked in property marketing and office refurbishment he brings a wealth of experience in the built environment to BCH.

An avid rugby fan he supports his home team the Bristol Bears and enjoys road biking and raising their two young sons.

George joined BCH in 2021 as an Assessor. He is based in Milton Keynes and focuses on the surveying of flats and commercial buildings.

George enjoys travelling and watching football. In the world of dream surveys, he would be most excited for BCH to add the new Tottenham Stadium to the pool of other football stadiums which have been surveyed by the team.

Head of IT

Chris Whiting provided IT support for BCH for many years, before joining as an employee in 2021.

He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the IT systems as well as strategic input as IT has become a key factor across the business.

Chris is a keen swimmer and enjoys visiting Portugal.
