Designed for managing agents and right to manage companies, our Flatrate product provides a quotation for a valuation survey – based on a simple per-unit fee scale.

This means your valuation fee is calculated on the size of your portfolio, based on the individual flats within the sample.

The benefit of an accurate valuation is simple, you will never compromise your professionalism with questions about underinsurance and the threat of legal action.

Our experienced team will be happy to help you handle anything from individual flats to a larger portfolio. Old or new, we work on them all — from warehouse and chapel conversions to modern riverside developments.

Your quotation for a survey will be produced automatically and sent via email to the address you entered.

Occasionally an automated quotation for a survey is not appropriate. If this is the case we will let you know immediately and a bespoke quotation will be emailed to you from our head office ‐ within 24 hours.

Before you get started — it will help to have the following information ready.

  1. Your contact details, your address and the property address as well as details of any Residents Association if applicable.
  2. The property details including the number of flats and the number of storeys.
  3. If the property is listed, which Grade would this be?
  4. Current Sum Insured.
  5. Your broker if applicable and the current insurer.
  6. You can also upload any photos or other documents that you believe are relevant to the survey.

BCH Flatrate quotation is based on an average block of flats.

Our “Flatrate” quotation is based upon purpose-built and conversion blocks of flats and may be subject to review in cases where the building is deemed to be of exceptionally high specification or high value/low occupancy.

Such variations will be advised prior to formal engagement.
