Having worked previously for a leading marine insurer and as an underwriting administrative assistant, Ben joined the BCH team in 2020. Based in Merseyside, surveying regularly throughout the North West and further afield as required, Ben conducts appraisals on blocks of flats and commercial sites. Away from work, he is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club and enjoys seeing live music.

Alyssa joined the BCH Head Office team, based in Market Bosworth, in 2019. Her role as Case Manager sees her working across all product lines, assisting clients daily and supporting our surveying team. Alyssa spends her time away from work creatively and enjoys playing piano and socialising with friends.

Daniel Lane is a Buildings Insurance Appraiser for Barrett Corp Harrington. Daniel joined BCH in 2018 and is based in South Wales and regularly travels throughout the UK to carry out buildings insurance surveys and reinstatement cost assessments for BCH.
Daniel previously worked in the insurance and construction industry as a Loss Adjuster and Contracts Manager. This experience brings a varied background of knowledge of the insurance and construction industry.
Being a keen motorcycle racer, the building he would most like to assess given the opportunity: Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, preferably during race season.

Based in the south and travelling frequently to London, Catherine joined the BCH team in January 2018. As Assistant Principal Surveyor, she can carry out appraisals on all types of buildings, including complex listed buildings and has responsibility for reviewing and signing off residential surveys, as well as dealing with customer questions and queries.
Having completed a Masters at Sotheby’s, she worked as an Appraiser for Chubb Insurance, based in London and travelling throughout the UK. Catherine especially enjoys surveying in the southwest, as she finds exploring this area through its landscapes and historic houses very rewarding. She enjoys visiting stately homes and finds all vernacular architecture fascinating. Catherine loves art and design of all eras and spends time in Italy where art, fashion, opera delicious food and wine are all in abundance!

Jamie Trewke is Director of Barrett Corp Harrington. Jamie’s detailed approach to Quantity Surveying and construction ensures that our Reinstatement Cost Assessments reflect real-world construction costs and are informed by construction principles and practices.
His career in construction spans multi-million pound commercial buildings to small scale residential works and his hands-on approach from inception through to practical completion gives an in-depth understanding of all phases of a building project.
His primary involvement in live construction projects, particularly in property development from both a client and contractors perspective, means he is able to bring real-time and relevant information to our RCAs.
Jamie holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. He is on route to achieving his ACIOB status.

Mark has been an Owner and Director of BCH since 2019. Having initially worked as an Appraiser for the company in 2013, he went onto work as a Senior Project Surveyor for a main contractor in the health care industry. He returned to his new role, the hands-on experience gained, aiding the robustness of our process in reporting Commercial Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments. BCH are the UKs market leader for RCAs and Mark is driving the evolution of company strategy and innovation, whilst keeping the customer experience at the centre of these improvements.
Mark holds a BSc(Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, Cert CII, is an Associate of the RICS and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders.
When away from work Mark enjoys exercise and long-distance running.
